Pro Performance Sports, which markets its lines of sports skills development trainers under the SKLZ brand, has donated 2,500 of its soccer trainers to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The company, which operates with a strong ethic for supporting the community, has provided the popular Kick-A-Way trainers for use by soccer teams that are involved in the Society's Soccer Kicks for Cancer program. The organization has benefited from over $1 million generated by over 1,500 soccer teams and more than 9,000 players in this program over the past 3 years.

"We believe strongly in supporting health through sports training, whether it's for our customers or for organizations that work against disease," says Tom Quinn, president of Pro Performance Sports. "And the donations to the Soccer Kicks for Cancer Program is an ideal match for our interest in supporting those efforts in the community."

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. With leukemia being the number one cancer killer of children and young adults under the age of 20, Soccer Kicks for Cancer has been a meaningful way for children to help other children while giving them the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills while learning the value of community service.
