SKLZ registration setup for the U.S. Army All-American Combine
Finally, the week has come! Here in San Antonio, team SKLZ, along with 500 of the nation's top high school football underclassmen will be participating in the U.S Army National Combine presented by SKLZ. Throughout the week SKLZ will be joined by Athletes' Performance to lead these rising football stars in the combine testing.
SKLZ and Athletes' Performance have also teamed up to introduce these young athletes to the concept of "movement preparation." This movement preparation is a combination of static stretching & dynamic warm-ups that prepare the athlete's muscles and body for physical activity. Another key factor to this movement preparation is the neural activation; the connection between the brain and the muscles. These concepts will help athletes as they continue to pursue elite sports careers.
For all the long and exhausting hours that have already been put toward this event, the reward has been far beyond words. If you're reading this, it's only Wednesday night, meaning the best is yet to come. Join us this week as we're eager to share with you not only the training experience of these athletes, but also a little behind the scenes scoop with our very own SKLZ team.
As the days continue, we've realized that this event not only recognizes the football skills and combine testing ability of future football stars, but it brings more to these athletes. It captures the importance of team-building, leadership, and most importantly, it highlights the tribute to those who sacrifice for our country. We look forward to waking up tomorrow and finding out what's next in this SKLZ experience. Until then...
