The results are in and there is nothing shady (get it?) about The Sports Authority's Sport-Brella sales. The partnership started early in 2009 with some decent signs of success, but really started rocking when displays were ordered and the SKLZ team recommended in-store Sport-Brella displays so that customers could see the true benefits of the product. Senior Buyer and big-time SKLZ believer Brian Martelon green-lighted expedited product shipments, display units and the in-store marketing direction for stores. As Shoeless Joe Jackson says in Field of Dreams..."If you build it, they will come"...well we built the program and the customers came. And they LOVE the Sport-Brella.
The program worked so well that local store managers requested more displays and more product so they could put them in variuous locations throughtout the stores.

They also put them back in the camping/outdoor area with fold-up chairs and coolers, setting up a very cool camping settin.

Some people 'in the know' within the walls of TSA's Englewood CO headquarters say Martelon has been raised to Hero Status for his execution of the Sport-Brella program...a buyer with true SKLZ.
