Performance training equipment and programs to be integrated throughout FBU's elite nationwide camps

CARLSBAD, Dec 27, 2011 -SKLZ, the global leader in athletic performance and skill development training, has been named the official provider of performance training equipment for all Football University (FBU) camps nationwide. In addition to providing FBU with training tools, SKLZ, in partnership with Athletes' Performance, will directly impact the training curriculum at the camps.

"We are excited to partner with an organization that provides an environment for elite high school athletes to train with the most respected NFL coaches and trainers around," said Tom Quinn, president of SKLZ. Throughout 2012, over 11,000 of the nation's best high school football players will be invited to attend FBU's camps. Athletes at FBU camps take part in on-the-field training that focuses on developing and enhancing playmaking ability as well as skill development. Additionally, there are seminars that focus on leadership and position-specific instruction.

"SKLZ has not only created the products to address the evolution of athletic training, but also, in working with Athletes' Performance, the content and programs to help athletes maximize their potential. This year, thanks to SKLZ, FBU participants will leave our camps with a new understanding of what it takes to train for football at an elite level."

To help them train after the camp is over, FBU participants will receive a special camp-only discount on SKLZ products. The partnership between the organizations includes FBU's TOP GUN camp, the culmination of the full season's football camps with the top 1,200 high school and youth selects from across the nation.
