Title: Account Manager
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for managing major accounts within the organization and achievement of sales goals for those accounts. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships with new accounts and maintaining a high level of knowledge of products for presenting to clients.
Key Functions:
Major Account Management
o Weekly contact with major customers
o Strategizing new opportunities in existing accounts
o Presenting line reviews
o Securing features
o Formulating marketing and pull-thru programs
Prospecting New Accounts
o Keeping sales reps informed on hot products and potential new opportunities
o Providing sales forecasts to business analyst
o Working directly with marketing department on sales presentations
o Formulating product and pricing strategies
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience working with major retail channels is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience in the Sporting Goods industry is a plus, but not required
- Superior interpersonal skills
- 4+ years professional Sales and Marketing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Accurate and detail oriented
- A Team-Player with a "can do" attitude.
