Portable Nets Just Got Better with Tension-Tite Frame Technology

April 29, 2012

SKLZ Tension-Tite Nets

When we set out to develop a better portable net, our goal was to put to rest the 2 biggest complaints we hear: they're heavy and they're difficult to set up. It took more than 100 prototypes and 500 design hours, but we finally got it right. We had our first Tension-Tite net.

Allen Holland, SKLZ Director of Product Design, explains the inspiration behind this new technology:

And now, after several months on the market, we're able to see that we really hit the mark.

"The goal is perfect for my 9 and 7 year old boys and their friends. It is true I (Mom) can set up the goal in about 3 to 4 minutes!!!!!!!!! I have multiple friends that are ready to buy this after seeing ours. Thanks for the great product and service."

-Jennifer Hendrick, of the 12'x6' Kickster

"Because we do not have access to a range it is important that I am constantly looking for equipment which will allow me to give the guests the best experience. I have a few simple requirements for the equipment I select: it must be of good quality, look good, be very compact and portable, and most of all I must be able to set up and take down the equipment quickly. It has taken a while but I have finally found what I have been searching for and it is appropriately named the SKLZ Quickster Net."

"To the folks at SKLZ, I can't say enough about my two new 12x6 Kickster goals. Perfect!!! Best portable goal ever!"
