By now, you probably know we make softball training aids that help players all over the country get better at their sport. But you may not have known we have some elite softball players right here at SKLZ headquarters. The entire team has been training hard- lunch breaks are typically spent taking swings on the Hit-A-Way PTS and several team members have been spotted at the gym during their lunch breaks pumping iron and getting trimmed up for the season. Everyone is training hard for the SKLZ Softball spring season and so far they're off to a great start. Here's a brief introduction of a few of our softball stars.

You might know Production Project Manager, David Knox, from his riveting hit... Man v Mini Hoop, but let me tell you while his strength was no match for the Mini Hoop it is for a softball. Watch out! Knoxie had an unbelievable week last Tuesday with two hits deep to right field. All opposing teams should keep an eye out for this one.

Director of Sales, Jeff Schade, aka the otter (no one gets the nickname here either...) helps to keep the team in line. When it comes to softball he knows what it takes to be a team player, cheerleader and seed chewer. He is serious about the sport and brings his college rugby speed, quickness and short shorts to the game of softball. The team wouldn't be the same without him.

SKLZ Graphic Designer, Kate-the-Position-Mulvey, is the one and only SKLZ catcher. After hours of training with the SKLZ Hi-Viz Softballs she makes sure nothing gets past her. She gives it 110% even if there is a home plate commit line. Unstoppable should be her nickname because commit line or no commit line- you ain't getting past her. Kate's skills have solidified her as the official SKLZ team catcher.

Don't be fooled by the smile or pink cleats, Logistics Coordinator Teylor McKnight is one heck of a ferocious ballplayer. She hits hard and catches anything coming her way. It's been overheard she is stepping up her game by taking part in crossfit training- guaranteed she will be an even more powerful player after a couple weeks of it.

The logistics department has contributed some truly great ballplayers to the SKLZ team- check out Carl "Carlito" Hedegard for instance. While we have no hard evidence, it's pretty clear he spends his 15 minute breaks and lunches training with the SKLZ Speed Chute and SpeedSac because he runs like a gazelle. There is just no other way that he can run the bases as fast as he does without serious training.

Meet Marketing Coordinator, Nicole Pickles Roberts, the girl who laughs at just about anything (hence the photo fail). While you normally find her around snow and water sports, it seems she has a real knack for the ball field as well. She's been making some powerful hits and is racking up the RBIs.
