Position: Logistics Coordinator (Full-Time, At-Will, Non-Exempt Position)
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Overview: As Logistics Coordinator, you will provide administrative support for the Shipping Department. Support includes, but is not limited to, EDI processing, including ASN, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), routing requests, invoicing, carton label processing using MAS200/Starship, UPS Worldship, and LTL/TL routing. In addition, you will be required to perform general office duties, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming orders via electronic data interface (EDI)
- Create ASN, Packing Lists, Bill of Ladings (BOL) and Routing Requests.
- Utilize the MAS200/Starship, UPS Worldship to process packages
- Generate all necessary carton labeling and shipping documents accordingly
- Schedule pickups with all major freight carriers via internet/telephone
- Communicate daily with Warehouse Manager & Logistics/Operations Manager regarding inventory in-house, and inventory arriving from China
- Interact with Sales Team and Buyers to notify them of any potential inventory concerns and adjustment of ship windows
- Invoice all appropriate orders in EDI immediately. Handle carefully to ensure everything is entered correctly and dollar amount matches up with in-house paperwork
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- EDI Processing
- MAS200/Starship (preferred), UPS Worldship
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive demeanor and outgoing personality
- Able to work with constant deadlines and prioritize workload
- Accurate and detail oriented

- Background / interest in team sports is desirable

Position: Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
Location: Carlsbad, CA

Responsibilities
- Understand customer and marketplace standards for products, packaging, and factories and ensure compliance with these standards from the product development phase through ongoing production.
- Manage customer product/factory audit process and bring any corrective actions to successful resolution.
- Manage quality assurance process for both domestic and overseas vendors, including providing support and guidance to resources in Asia.
- Develop appropriate testing parameters for new products and modify plans on existing products as needed.
- Ensure that quality control and testing documentation is kept current and accessible.
- Determine key quality issues occurring in the field, identify root causes, and help lead implementation of the appropriate fixes.
Ideal Background
- Experience meeting quality/compliance requirements of large US retailers.
- Quality background.
- CMQ and/or CQE certification a plus.
- Engineering training/experience a plus.
- Consumer products background.
- Experience working with sourcing partners in Asia and ability to travel to Asia.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work very well cross-functionally.

Position: Retail and Events Internship
Locations: Miami, San Fran/San Jose, New York/Long Island, Chicago, Washington D.C., Denver, Sacramento, Seattle, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Ann Arbor, Pittsburgh, Phoenix
Please Note: You must live in one of the aforementioned cities to be considered for this position. We are not seeking people for relocation to our San Diego Headquarters.
Execute cross promotions with SKLZ retail partners & sponsors to drive brand image and product awareness by implementing and supporting sports retail event day execution and management. This position will assist with coordination of retailer training sessions, special events/programs and promotions at independent sporting good stores and big box retailers.
Key Functions:
- Serve as liaison between SKLZ and local/regional sporting good retailers, providing a front line effort to support merchandising of new products and displays, improve existing retail presentation and help increase overall sales
- Educate and motivate sales associates to expand current knowledge on SKLZ product and selling strategies
- Ability to organize, document and deliver compelling presentations related to the SKLZ brand and product awareness at local sport retail events
- Improve your hard skills and knowledge on various professional reporting, planning and communication tools
- Improve the service events with the aim of making the SKLZ training experience unforgettable by supporting the roll-out of new products, new displays set-up at retailers, training and communication to store sales team/customers
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Able to work in a fast-paced, deadlineoriented environment with the ability to adapt to change and meet timelines without sacrificing quality
- Organize and compile customer information into a database for future promotional events
- Contribute content from retail events/promotions to support SKLZ brand via social media networks
- Execute on-site event requirements from physical set up to tear down
